Tiny Tumblers: Ages 2-3
The Zero Gravity Tiny Tumblers is a “parent/caregiver and me” participation class. These classes require the adult to participate with the class in a structured learning environment. Under the supervision and instruction of the coach, the adult will be assisting their child in progressive motor development, first time experience with gymnastic skills, spatial awareness, and social development with other children.
Our curriculum teaches correct body positioning, hand-eye coordination, balance, swing, and basic gymnastics progression for rolls, cartwheels, climbing, hanging, and jumping. The Tiny Tumblers learn these skills through practice on obstacle courses and the trampoline.
Hoppers: Ages 3.5 – 4.5
The Zero Gravity Hoppers are pre-school gymnasts that are ready to participate in class on their own. The curriculum includes teaching correct body positioning, development of motor skills, balance, swing, and basic gymnastics progression for rolls, cartwheels, climbing, hanging, and jumping. Most skills are taught using apparatus placed into safe structured obstacle courses. Other skills and coordination are taught on the trampoline.
Children must be at least 3.5 years old and must also be potty trained. At this developmental age, children are just beginning to learn how to take turns, share, and follow instruction. It may take a few classes for a child of their age to understand these new concepts.
